In this episode I provide the history of the Chrysler "cloud" cars the Dodge Stratus, Chrysler Cirrus, and Plymouth Breeze that launched between 1995 and 1996. These cars followed Chrysler's new "cabforward" design that started with the LH cars (Dodge Intrepid / Chrysler Concorde / Eagle Vision) and replaced the more boxy (and more Kcarlike) Dodge Spirit, Plymouth Acclaim, and the sedan version of the Chrysler LeBaron. The Stratus would be the only one of the three to continue with a second generation, as the Cirrus would be renamed the Sebring (to join the coupe and convertible that already had that name) and the Breeze would be cancelled along with the entire Plymouth brand in 2001.
