It’s 2023, vinyl is (still) hot, and in response to some of our videos about CD manufacturing, several artists asked us how vinyl manufacturing works. So, a little while ago, we took a drive 20 minutes up the road to our vinyl factory and shot this video.

As you’ll see, vinyl is a timeconsuming, multistep production process that today is virtually identical to when the process was invented some 70+ years ago. This is one reason why vinyl continues to be relatively pricey to produce (especially compared to CDs).
