We followed Leanne Mohamad, who is running against Wes Streeting for Ilford North, during her campaign.

Leanne is a 23yearold BritishPalestinian whose grandparents were displaced from Palestine after the Nakba.

Aged 15, she faced trolling and serious accusations following her prizewinning Jack Petchey speech on Palestine, which she delivered in 2016. Her Jack Petchey speech became a catalyst for her entry into activism.

Supported by members of the community from different faiths, Leanne stands strong in challenging Shadow Health Secretary Streeting, in his own constituency.
