His Holiness Pope Avva Kyrillos VI, the 116th patriarch of the Coptic Orthodox Church, is known for his deep spirituality, and as one of the pioneers of the wonder workers like his intercessor, the martyr Saint Mena. He lived on earth from August 2, 1902 to March 9, 1971.

This liturgy is celebrated by H.H. Pope Kyrillos V!, H.H. Abuna Basilious (Patriarch of Ethiopia), and H.H. Mar Ignatius Ya'qub III (Patriarch of Antioch). Also in attendance was Emperor Haile Selasie, Emperor of Ethiopia.
