These are a few of my favorite high note alternate fingerings!
First we discuss those best known to the flute world at large, to bring down pitch in loud or aggressive playing for these notes:
High E, F, F#, G#, A
(and also, check in with your high Bflat fingering, please!)
Then I remind everyone to consider using harmonic fingerings especially at the 5th/12th, as well as octave.
Finally we look at fingerings to help with soft dynamics and tapers for these notes:
C and C# above the staff, D, E, F, F#, A, Bflat
