This is a highyield review of infectious diseases for Step 2 CK, Step 1, and shelf exams. We cover understanding of common bacterial infections and basic principles of treatment. We add additional details on some highyield microbiology and virulence. We don't go into extensive detail on treatment regimens or antimicrobials in this video but all of this infectious disease material is heavily tested on NBME exams.
