This incredibly stunning hike of Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa via the Rhyd Ddu Path in Snowdonia, North Wales, begins at a pay and display Snowdonia National Park carpark (LL54 6TN) in the beautiful village of Rhydddu.

This mountain path, which crosses the historical Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways line, has 895 meters of ascent (8.5 miles), taking around 6 hours to complete and has an epic ridge walk to get the heart pumping. The views were nonstop, this path really is spectacular!

We were lucky enough to meet some knowledgeable and passionate people during our walk, Gwynfor Jones and Mountain Leader Hywyn Roberts, whose love of the mountain really was inspiring, was good enough to impart some of his welsh wisdom and we would like to thank him for taking the time to chat to us.
