After beginning to hike solo, south bound on the Appalachian trail from Mt Greylock in MA on June 15th 2022 with a goal to make it to Springer Mt GA, like a lot of things in life, I learned hiking can become addicting. After reaching Springer Mt GA I hiked on the Benton MacKaye trail to the Pinhoti trail and entertained thoughts of an ECT flip flop, although when I reached Flagg Mt in Alabama I decided to go back North. I finished the remaining miles on the BMT, then travelled back to New England to attempt to finish the 600ish miles remaining in the states of VT, NH, and Maine on the A.T.
