I had to return to the enchantments to complete the route. It has always been a goal of mine to be able to do the entire Enchantments thru hike in a day and see it at the peak of larch season.
Be aware this is a challenging route that involves route finding and scrambling. Many hikers each year get lost and injured because they underestimate this route, be prepared.
It took me 12.5 hours to complete 21 miles, and 5000 feet of gain, that's considered average, so if you are planning om attempting the thru hike plan for it taking ALL day or more.
