Volkswagen Amarok V6 2023:

All three variants will be available with a 3.0litre turbocharged V6 diesel engine (shared with the Ford Ranger), which will be standard on both the PanAmericana and Aventura.

The Amarok Style will come standard with a 2.0litre biturbo fourcylinder diesel engine (also shared with the Ford Ranger) and can be optioned with the V6 diesel

The Aventura on the other hand will come with the V6 diesel as standard, but offer a 2.3litre fourcylinder turbocharged petrol engine as an option. This engine is unique to the Amarok here since it isn’t available with the Ranger in Australia 


Toyota Hilux gr sport 2023:
The turbocharged 2.8liter fourcylinder diesel has been tuned to produce 221 hp (165 kW / 224 PS) and 550 Nm (405.7 lbft) of torque thanks to “revised turbosupercharging and fuelinjection control”. Both figures represent an increase of 10% over the stock engine although the power is nowhere close the 392 hp (292 kW / 397 PS) of the 3.0liter V6 found in the AUspec Ford Ranger Raptor.

Note that the Hilux GR Sport trims which are available in other markets don’t get any engine upgrades, producing 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS) and 368 lbft (500 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through a tweaked automatic gearbox with the help of Toyota’s 4WD system.
