In this video, Danielle Matias, MMS, PAC discusses the use of Prolotherapy with PRP and/or stem cells for treating hip pain and labral tears. While we love helping people avoid surgery in the first place, there are times when patients already underwent surgery and still have pain but would like to avoid further surgery, and therefore ask if regenerative options would be appropriate. In most cases of acetabular labrum tears and hip instability, we find that it is worth pursuing at least a consultation and exam with a Prolotherapy specialist for a more indepth case evaluation and discuss treatment options.
