Histograms are a very useful tool that EVERY engineer should know how to use. I'll cover how to make a histogram using Microsoft Excel 2016, discuss why histograms are useful, and a few applications for histograms that a geared toward engineering problems.

The three examples will go over how histograms can be used see part size variation, production rate variation, and the variation of order completion dates.
