Feuer in der sächsischen Schweiz, im Harz und nun auch im Zittauer Gebirge. Einen Riesenschreck gab es für die Organisatoren und Besucher der Historik Mobil im Zittauer Gebirge, als am Eröffnungstag am Vormittag am Ameisenberg in Oybin ein Feuer ausgebrochen war und der Zugverkehr sowie die Zufahrtsstraße nach Oybin wegen dem Löscheinsatz gesperrt waren. Sollten monatelange Vorbereitungen der Organisatoren vergeblich gewesen und die zahlreichen Besucher umsonst angereist sein? Dank dem aufopferungsvollen Einsatz vieler Feuerwehren und dem Einsatz eines Löschhubschraubers konnte das Feuer dann noch rechtzeitig gelöscht werden und der Eröffnung am Freitagnachmittag, 05. August 2022 stand nichts mehr im Wege. Eine großartige Leistung!
Zahlreiche Besucher am gesamten Wochenende nahmen die Einladung der Organisatoren gern an und sorgten stets für volle Züge. Stargast war dieses Jahr der sächsische IKZug. Während woanders auch noch die letzte betriebsfähige Mallet abgestellt wird bestreitet man bei den sächsischen Schmalspurbahnen einen anderen Weg und versucht im historischen Ambiente eine möglichst große Fahrzeugvielfalt präsentieren zu können. Das Kleinode Zittauer Schmalspurbahn nimmt dabei eine führende Rolle ein. Wir dürfen uns auf einen abwechslungsreichen Zugverkehr freuen.
History Mobil Zittau 2022
Fire in Saxon Switzerland, in the Harz Mountains and now also in the Zittau Mountains. A huge shock for the organizers and visitors of the Historik Mobil in the Zittau Mountains when a fire broke out on the Ameisenberg in Oybin in the morning of the opening day and the train traffic and the access road to Oybin were closed due to the firefighting operation. Should the organizers' months of preparations have been in vain and the numerous visitors have traveled in vain? Thanks to the selfsacrificing efforts of many fire brigades and the use of a firefighting helicopter, the fire was extinguished in time and nothing stood in the way of the opening on Friday afternoon, August 5th, 2022. A great achievement!
Numerous visitors throughout the weekend gladly accepted the invitation from the organizers and always made sure that the trains were full. The star guest this year was the Saxon IK train. While elsewhere the fire goes out even with the last operational malletlocomotive, the Saxon narrowgauge railways take a different approach and try to present the greatest possible variety of vehicles in a historical ambience. The jewel of the Zittau narrowgauge railway plays a leading role here. We can look forward to a varied train service.
