The Pride of the Royal Navy, HMS Hood of the Admiralclass of battle cruisers, also known as “The Mighty Hood.” Was sunk after being sent to fight in “The Battle of the Denmark Strait” on a mission to sink the new German battleship Bismarck in 1941. 1,415 men were killed and only three survived.
