In this test, I am looking at the speed and power of the H&N Field Target Trophy pellet weighing 14.66 grains through the Hatsan Gladius in .22. I had recently used it at home on the test range, and at the club range. From 15 yards out to 30 yards, there was hardly any difference in the point of impact. This was done in response to a valid point by subscriber, Mark Homer, who said how efficient the rifle was with a .22 pellet, which was showing similar results to a .177 rifle in comparison to other .22 rifles. Was it over powered? Only one way to find out. This video shows the results of the chronograph test, but also shows how concestent the Robert Lane Lancet regulator is. I can get around 220 shots now, compared to 120 shots standard. The difference is that these are a lot more concistent than a standard rifle. Accuracy is also very good, as can be seen in the last video of this rifle and pellet combination.
