Many owners volunteer to serve on their Home Owners Association boards to give back to the community and contribute to its success. But serving on the board requires compliance with the governing documents, the law, and the fiduciary duties owed to the association. Understanding and following the various board obligations will reduce liability exposure to both the board and the association. This presentation (March 6, 2023) discusses the role of the board, its duties and how to comply, ways to reduce liability exposure, and how to be a success for your community. Presented by Altitude Law P.C.
