Getting started in Hogwarts Legacy can be a bit overwhelming, but fear not – that's where this starter guide comes in. It will guide you through the basics, giving you all the tools you need to navigate this magical world with ease. Focusing on the best strategies to help you succeed, this video will guide you through the basics of the game, including character creation, spell and talent selection, hidden secrets and combat strategies. In this guide, you will find important strategies to optimize your character build, solutions to almost all of the puzzles in the game and many tips and tricks to help you succeed in your journey in and around Hogwarts!

This starter guide for Hogwarts Legacy is based on dozens of hours of gameplay experience with several characters and features over two weeks of research. In a walkthrough covering the first 810 hours of gameplay, we go over all important mechanics and choices you will encounter in the early game. Beginning with character creation and the selection of your Hogwarts house, we will learn the basics of earning experience points and levels and talk about which quests and missions to focus on first for the best possible start.

This starter guide also features a complete earlygame character build optimized to make the most out of the available talents and spells.
