The year is 1936, in this world Germany was the victor of WW1 aka the Weltkrieg. The United States of America never joined or helped the Entente and remained diplomatically isolated from the rest of the world. As it stayed in peace, its economy boomed and it enjoyed a great time of peace and prosperity. But after a while, the German dominance in multiple markets and many other factors ensured that the USA would enter a slow decline followed by increasingly vicious domestic social and political conflict. The ineffective second term of President Herbert Hoover has threatened the twoparty political system that has dominated US government since the first American Civil War. Two grand coalitions have risen to challenge the old, traditional system with the first being the America First Union Party and with the second being Combined Syndicates of America. This election will be the most important election in the history of the USA, with it deciding what path will this country of great potential take. Both of these new parties have the capacity to rise up as a paramillitary force and militias around the country, and should either one not be elected, they are prepared to take power by force if necessary.
It is a time of great turmoil in the once great United States of America and many are speculating that this could be the start of the Second American Civil War. With the Syndicalists and the Far Right putting more and more pressure on the already destroyed system, the speculation might be true.
What will happen? Who will prevail? How will this change America's position in the world? How will this change the rest of the world? WILL AMERICA BE A FREEDOM LOVING COUNTRY AFTER ALL THIS MESS!?
