Batman The Caped Crusader is coming to Amazon Prime and Hollywood have decided to continue their trend in gender swapping their iconic characters. In this particular case they have gender swapped The Penguin.
The Penguin has been gender swapped from a Male to a Female. And his name has been changed from Oswald Cobblepot to Oswalda Cobblepot.

I think this gender swap is a massive missed opportunity for not only a much needed and timely new animated Penguin, but also for a potential new character that could have been created for this show and had the potential to thrive in the show, the comics and beyond.
