Discarded Wedding Dresses Revived through Street Dance

”Approximately 1.7 million wedding dresses are discarded every year.“

A wedding dress is worn an average of 4 to 6 times before being discarded. Bridestobe can never forget the emotional moment of trying on a wedding dress before their big day. The radiant, beautiful wedding dress completes the most special moment in one’s life, but its lifespan is short. For the Holy Number Seven 25SS season, discarded wedding dresses are deconstructed and upcycled, creating a sensory design that fuses the contrasting worlds of streetwear and classic fashion.
Holy Number Seven, committed to zerowaste practices, reinterprets discarded items to practice sustainable fashion.

As a brand that develops dancer wear based on street culture, we design dynamic stage wear that contrasts with the static nature of wedding dresses, imbued with the unique sensibility of Holy Number Seven. Using recycled cotton, leather, polyester, and deadstock fabrics, we recreate looks that enhance life‘s special moments.

HOLYNUMBER7 started as a street culture brand in the 2017 Seoul Collection. Drawing inspiration from the resistance spirit of hiphop culture against the times, we pursue designs that are free and dynamic. By meeting iconic symbols of street culture and conveying messages of youth's growth and hope through fashion, we aim to create a positive street culture brand. Embracing keywords such as 'Resistance' over 'Rebellion' and 'Positivity' over 'Negativity' we strive to be a language for those who wear our brand, fostering a good street culture.
