Can you charge your new Tesla or EV from your solar and Powerwall/ battery storage? Well, as usual, it depends. It's important to first understand how many kWh's your batteries can hold and how many kWh's your EV needs to fully charge. As I explain in the video, the battery pack of an EV is much larger than what an average home battery system can hold. So, you can charge your EV from the battery, but it's important to understand what is realistic and how much power your battery can really supply for you.
