As promised, I am sharing the recipe for homemade sugar mastic. The recipe is excellent the mastic turns out plastic, snowwhite. Great for figurines, toppers and a variety of cake decorations. I will not say that mastic is a popular product, but modern confectionery cannot do without mastic.

Ingredients
Powdered sugar 1,200 gr
Water 230 g (115 g for syrup and 115 g for soaking gelatin)
Sugar 435 gr
Vanilla flavoring 1 bottle. (or vanilla sugar 2 packs)
Glucose syrup 170 gr
Salt 1/4 tsp.
Gelatin 25 gr
