This simple fix will work perfectly as an alternative if cleaning and lubing the old switch did not work, as was the case for my 2002, 1800 Gold Wing. Here I show how to clean and lube the switch, plus my hack. This was way cheaper ($.08 Cents) than the dealer price or a price of a new switch harness that includes all the switches, plus takes only 10 minutes to do.
