On the 100th anniversary of his death actress Maxine Peake reads the final moving letter that 16yearold Private Horace Iles had sent home to his parents ahead of the Battle of the Somme.

Iles is commemorated by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission at Serre Road Cemetery No1, France.
