This is an ink drawing I made for Day 13 of Inktober this year. The prompt was horizon, which immediately made me think of the game Horizon: Zero Dawn. As such, I drew Aloy standing in the midst of a field of reeds with a horizon in the background. The sun looks stretched out in the water, but it’s relatively tinylooking hiding behind the clouds. Aloy’s clothing is loosely based on the Shadow Starwalt and the Nora Silent Hunter outfits from the game. I used screentones to convey visual depth, and paid attention to line weight variation for visual interest.
