Horse Saddle Review- Pros u0026 Cons- Craftmanship Vs Shortcuts - Things I look for in Western Saddles

Think Like A Horse

#thinklikeahorse #ItIsNeverTheHorsesFault Here I discuss the differences between two saddles. One saddle is made by John Willemsma which I consider a great well built, high quality saddle. The other saddle is a back up saddle I bought used. The first review I did I accidentally said the Saddle Makers Name, someone emailed him to stir up shit. He emailed me crying about how he has to feed his family and somehow because I pointing out some things that I did not like personally, my opinion, was somehow going to hurt him. So after two days and many hours of trying to remove his name I decided it would be faster to redo the video. I redid the video ensuring I did not use his name. This evaluation is my opinion which will not get you a cut a coffee anywhere, but it will give you some things I look for and what I look at and my definition of quality and excellent craftsmanship verses subquality and what I consider short cuts.

As I say in the video, John makes a great saddle that I like, Carlos at Lost Buckaroo makes good quality gear that I like and Mark Hurley treated me fair, did a great job and quality repair of the used saddle I bought. And the used saddle I bought I think has some short cuts and areas that attention to detail were missing. Since my intent is not prevent some guy from feeding his family, I did not mention the saddle makers name, however, if I get any more crying or emails from this guy I will add his name because I am fed up with dealing with BS from people.

So take this video as you want, it is an opinion of what I personally look for and like and dislike, if you don't agree don't watch it, don't comment and leave. Below are some links I talk about in the video.

Fed up with lies in the horse world, from horse trainers, to saddle makers, to breeders, to horse shoers and of course Barn Witches causing drama behind the scenes hiding under their rocks This channel is about educating people to develop a critical eye and not to be played as a fool, if you are too foolish to see that then go be stupid else where.

In a world of Lies, Truth is treason.
