We heard from a range of members and their experience with the gadgets and technology they use on their conservation properties, such as:
Finding pygmy possums and feather gliders with thermal scanners/scopes/binoculars
Mapping and monitoring weeds and threatened species with EpiCollect
A continuous portable bird detector BirdWeather PUC (Portable Universe Codec)
Satellite imagery from Copernicus Browser monitoring change on large properties
Seeing tiny things clip on macro lens and fancy microscopes
Spotlighting for critters which torch reigns supreme?

This was one of our initiatives to help build connections between members, without driving long distances!

Land Covenantors Victoria brings current and future covenantors together to share knowledge and encourage more Victorians to protect land for biodiversity and future generations. There are two ways to get involved.
1. If you have a covenant on your land, please join LCV as a full member (at no cost). We look forward to understanding your interests and needs, and will seek your input to help us plan future events, networks and services.
2. If you're interested in our activities, but do not currently have covenanted land, join as a “Friend of LCV” to stay in touch. We usually email a quarterly newsletter to share our upcoming events, news and initiatives.
