The Goa Assembly’s 7th Session was adjourned on Tuesday over the issue of breach of privilege motion tabled by Krishna DajiSalkar against Quepem MLA AltoneD’Costa, regarding alleged remarks made by him against Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar, on ST reservation issue. This is the third time in two days that the House is being adjourned on the same issue. CM argued that the Breach of Privilege is against the Speaker therefore it must be decided in the House. Today he changed his stance and said there was no need to say sorry and the issue can be settled in the foyer. He argued that the motion was not moved. At this the opposition MLAs said CM had asked for an apology and that rules of Breach of Privilege should be followed. Opposition also alleged that for the first time it was the ruling benches which were disrupting the house like on Monday.
