This further describes the anointing, oil how to use it and where to place it. Just a few notes that we were unable to upload:
The stick is just a 4 foot bamboo with a chair foot on the bottom and a wad of cotton on the top secured with elastic bands. This allows Rev. Sonja to comfortably anoint things without climbing over chairs and making things dangerous. The cotton is then soaked in the anointing oil.
We use oil instead of blood on the doorposts because Jesus was the final perfect sacrifice, and the oil represents His blood. Please note, we do not put oil on the threshold because nobody needs to be walking on the Blood of Jesus Christ as it would be an obvious sign of disrespect.
We anoint only 3 spots on the door: the top and on each side. It is interesting to note that this shape given in the book of Exodus make the perfect shape of a cross.
