Between Two Trees is a threestorey residence adapting to a need for varying levels of privacy. The design language of the home focuses on the fusion between Indian and Balinese architectural styles, while playing with natural materials.

One is welcomed into the house by two massive trees that become the entrance gateway to the building. The highlight of the home is the presence of a Nandi statue in the courtyard with a central skylight, flanked by 4 wooden Chettinad columns.

Principal Architect Rajesh Shivaram explains the design concept of this house, a composition of cubes, with private and public spaces carved within the lifting volumes.
