Maria Brito and contemporary artist Swoon discuss issues related to drug addiction, vulnerability, motherhood, trauma and how being an artist saved her life. This conversation takes place at the artist’s studio in Brooklyn. This episode also includes interviews with gallery owner Jeffrey Deitch in his SoHo gallery and Anthony Nave, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and senior manager at Mountainside, an addiction treatment center.
