Liebherr has developed a particularly simple, fast and economical solution for selfassembly of the telescopic boom for the LTM 16508.1. With the newly developed selfassembly device, which is mounted on a standard lowloader, the auxiliary crane normally required for assembling the boom can be completely dispensed with. The special feature here is that when the device is not needed, the lowloader can be used for other transportation tasks.
