IMPORTANT UPDATES
1) As of January 1st, 2020, the new jurisdictional limit of the Small Claims Court is $35,000. The old limit of $25,000 no longer applies. Furthermore, your case must involve at least $3,500 to be eligible for an appeal.

2) Due to the COVID19 pandemic, some steps can be performed virtually without the need for a process server. Speak to a lawyer about which documents can and cannot be filed online.
