We get a lot of questions about bulkheads. How does Privilège build bulkheads? We build our own using a closedcell foam product called Divinycell that doesn't allow moisture to migrate through it. It is sandwiched between two layers of fiberglass to create a solid product that we cut into the required shapes. The hull and deck are absolutely bonded when the bulkheads are attached to the hull, we sand for perfect adhesion and we take the time to tape and wet the entire bulkhead right down to the bilges.
