In this short movie I present my personal opinion about Lance Armstrong performance and reasons why he started using performance enhancing drugs. Also I am trying to answer question whether this athlete would be successful before or after EPO era in professional cycling. The core assumption is that Lance Armstrong started using EPO in late 1995 so after four years in professional cycling. He was definitely talented in endurance sports like running or cycling.
In early 90's, when Lance turned professional with the Motorola Cycling Team he collected meaningful trophies like World Road Championship held in Norway. Armstrong was also high ranked in races like Tour DuPont or LiegeBastogneLiege. He was able win stages of the Tour de France in both 1993 and 1995 although he withdrew from Tours he attempted.
