Known as the "City of Angels", Los Angeles is historically more wellknown for its devils that haunted the city in the 1940s and 1950s. The postwar period was rife with police corruption and unsolved murders—the likings of any great James Ellroy novel. These events have been covered in countless books, films, and television shows, but only one video game has truly done the job right. Watch as we take a look at the real history of L.A. Noire.

The Real History is a series of videos about historical video games, examining the true events that inspired them. Whether it's set in the 13th century, the 1990s, or an alternate reality, each game has a unique aspect based on or inspired by true historical events, and I'll try to examine these in an educational and entertaining format.
