Hours play a significant role in ranking local results on Google. In fact, Google has repeatedly stated that openness is a ranking factor when displaying local results.

I ran a test of my own on 715 for a nonbrand keyword for my client when they were closed. After the scan, all of their top SEO rankings dropped. Then, the next day, I reran the scan again for the same keyword, and all the rankings shot right back to the top.

In this video, I share those results and how I use Local Falcon to run the scans / see who took the share away from the client. I also share some things that business owners can do now that they know hours play a role in ranking. I'm not advocating being a 24/7 business if you are not. I share why you should not do that even if you get a slight ranking boost from doing that in Google Maps.
