My stock market routine has changed! This is how I now buy dividend stocks each week. In order to keep life simple, I have a new strategy that streamlines my process into essentially two simple steps.

Timestamps:
0:00 INTRODUCTION: I'm working really hard right now, with very limited free time. I have taken on a new approach to purchasing dividend stocks that helps me save time each week, while still building my portfolio.
0:40 While I'm working really had right now, my dividend stocks are working even harder behind the scenes (dividend checks, true passive income).
1:13 STEP 0: REBUILDING MY EMERGENCY FUND This must be topofmind before anything else.
2:15 STEP 1: A NORMAL WEEK (I'll just purchase SCHD)
2:53 SCHD Schwab US Dividend Equity ETF
3:09 This ETF selects dividend stocks that offer value, current yield, and dividend growth
3:41 SCHD Stats 3.45% starting yield, but 13.9% dividend growth per year, on average (last 5 years)
4:22 STEP 2: CRAZY WEEK (SINGLE POSITION I OWN PLUMMETS)
4:41 If one of my 36 individuals stocks acts irrationally, I will buy that stock instead of SCHD.
5:06 Raytheon Technologies (RTX) Impressive Q2 results. Adjusted EPS up 11% yearoveryear!
5:45 However, some bad news at Pratt & Whitney tanked the stock by 12%! I’m looking at this as a buying opportunity.
6:26 Personallyspeaking, I am not overthinking bad news too much. My personal investing ruleset dictates that I should buy this stock.
7:38 I save myself time these days. I already put in countless hours of analysis on RTX. I don't need to reanalyze the stock.
8:06 High quality dividend stocks are scarce.
8:38 STEP 3: I'M SPENDING AS LITTLE TIME AS POSSIBLE ANALYZING STOCKS
9:39 DISCLOSURE AND DISCLAIMER

DISCLOSURE: I am long Raytheon Technologies (RTX) and SCHD. I own these stocks in my personal dividend stock portfolio.
