In this video I talk about why I changed my plan from lumpectomy to mastectomy just a few weeks before my breast cancer surgery. The benefits and challenges behind this decision are different for every woman, but it has been nice to hear the stories of others as they make this decision, so I thought I'd share my process too. (Remember to consult with your doctor before making any changes to your treatment plan, before or after mastectomy!)
