Even though most glass is clear, it still reflects light and create highlights and dark reflections on its surface affected by the surroundings it is placed. The key to drawing realistic glass is to draw every highlight, shadow, and reflection as close to what your eyes see, but not what you think it should look. For beginners, it would be easier to start practicing by drawing from a photo than looking at an actual object.A B&W graphite pencil drawing of an empty glass. 2H, 2B, 4B , 8B 12B graphite pencils
2mm drafting pencil
PRIMACOLOR EBONY jet black smooth pencil
General's kneaded eraser
small brush
small paper tortillon
Strathmore 300 series Bristol paper
