How I Made an Infinite Runner Game In 3 Days For the Score Space Jam! (Unity Game Jam)

Here is my stress filled fun time creating an infinite running game (inspired by Gravity Guy), in 3 days! It takes you through the process of how I developed the game and where I try to be funny. I am making the game for the score space game jam. The game ends up being pretty fun and creative with a working leaderboard system thanks to lootlocker, but will I make it to the top ten in the game jam? If you are new here and enjoyed the video, definitely consider subscribing!

Other than the score space game jam I started development on my first mobile game. It is an infinite runner (similar to this game jam) game for the phone involving a jetpack which infinitely goes up. It is just the first few weeks of working on it so not too much progress was made. I am developing the game in Unity although there are many other great game creation platforms to choose from in Unreal Engine, Godot, and many others. But, I hope you enjoy the first week of development!

Hello! If you are new here, which I am assuming you are, welcome! I'm an indie game developer where I worked on a space game where I struggled messing with physics based game using Unity and had to stick to a BlackThornProd tutorial to help. This is my devlog / devblog where I show off the progress I made on it. I will try uploading weekly videos between / game jams/ devlogs / unity games / and much more, so stay tuned!
