In this weeks video I go over how I write guitar parts for southern rock. Honestly I think the process is pretty easy especially since southern rock is considered to be based in roots music. When something has a base you can use that a launching platform for your music. Standing on the shoulders of giants and all that,
1. create restrictions (key, chords, modes, meter, tempo, structure..etc)
2. add Blues licks
3. break and bend the restrictions from before a little
