With a fixedwing and 30 ducted fan electric motors, the sevenseat Lilium Jet is expected to operate scheduled flights connecting cities up to around 155 miles apart in markets such as Florida, Europe and Brazil. The German startup’s business vice president explained this plan to FutureFlight and also how the performance could support other business models, such as private aviation with partners such as fractional ownership and charter group NetJets.
