As a result, the most common question we get is how long does this take to heal? The truth is that everyone is different but you can get substantial results in pain relief in about 23 weeks. Most disc injuries do take some time as the L4, L5, and S1 are the most commonly injured. You should expect to spend 612 weeks doing intensive rehab but in some cases, it may take an ongoing effort for 36 months to really get back to health.
