A physical therapy evaluation will usually take 60minutes unless you are feeling weak and nausious. If I am seeing a new patient within 1 week following rotator cuff surgery the first physical therapy appointment is usually less than 30minutes.

A followup physical therapy treatment usually takes between 30 and 60 minutes at most clinics.

Discharge visits or progress reports often require longer duration physical therapy treatments due to the increased testing and documentation being performed.
