How Minecraft SMPs Changed

Minecraft SMPs are servers where a group of players band together to do some cool things. SMP stands for Survival Multiplayer.

They have been out for a long time, with many SMPs such as Hermitcraft featuring Grian and MumboJumbo, Dream SMP with Technoblade and TommyInnit or even the Lifesteal SMP with Clownpierce and Parrot dominating the landscape and going beyond what is possible in Minecraft. But overtime, Minecraft SMPs have changed. I've been wanting to document that for years, and here we are.
