I started the PCT May 10th, and finished August 1st for an 84 day thru hike. My goal from the start was 90 days so I was happy to have done that! This however was actually my second attempt at thru hiking this trail, my first in 2018 was cut short after an accidental trip which caused a severe injury. So this time around in 2022 I really worked hard to train more before the hike, and pay closer attention to my bodies needs during the hike. I went on many shakedown hikes prior as well, and had even done some shorter thru hikes in prep for this longer one. I was as ready as I ever was going to be. Lessons I am taking into my future hikes.
