I've got this question multiple times through clients and friends, how many times should I take my suit to the dry cleaners. But what is :dry cleaning": Dry cleaning launders and cleans clothes and fabrics using a chemical solvent containing little or no water. That being mentioned, this process wears and tears the fibers of a fabric.
Here is a loose tip:
If you wear a suit daily, you should be visiting the dry cleaners about 34 times a year (unless its really dirty)
If you wear a suit only on occasion than you should be visiting the dry cleaners about 12 times a year.
Again both conditions apply if the suit is dirty or smelly if none of these apply you don't have to take it to the cleaners.
