When we are psychically blocked, we can invoke the Trickster archetype to help us break down the rigidity that can impair our growth. This includes one of its signature tools: vulgarity.
Embracing discomfort and delight, it forges connections, releases pentup emotions, and confronts the complexities of existence. In the laughter that follows the shock, the shared glance of understanding, and the relief of tension, we discover the power of vulgarity to unite us, to reveal our shared vulnerabilities that bind us as a community.
