So, right after candidates give their Design Aptitude Test (DAT) for CEED or NID/NIFT admissions, they should immediately start working on building their Portfolio. So, here the first question to ask is What is a Porfolio?

A Portfolio is nothing but a collection of a candidate’s best and often enough most recent artwork/designs/projects. Most popular design colleges like NID, IIT, IISc etc., ask students to present their portfolio primarily because they want to know more about the creative streak in the candidate as well as understand if the student has a natural inclination towards the course they are applying.

When it comes to proving yourself professionally, it’s important to show and tell. After all, many people do the same type of work you do, but no one does it quite like you. That’s why creating an online portfolio is so great.
